My Travel Story

Hello my name is Fatima, I am a qualified technician in X-ray based in Switzerland with Somali origins.
Since January 2021 I have been traveling solo all around Africa. This has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. I have left my town, my home and my job in order to fulfill this crazy dream of mine.

My plan is to cross as many countries possible, my goal is to reach the most remote secluded village’s, meet the people, learn about their languages and cultures and if I can help the children in those villages with schools supplies. I want to travel to a developing country to contribute towards the upliftment of their society, but unfortunately I am running low on funds.

I have volunteered to build a school in Tanzania, since now I have used all my personal funds to donate and to travel, my plan was to return to my country by the end of 2021. I have absolutely fell in love with this amazing continent and I am not yet ready to come back. I would like to travel as long as I can, this is a life time experience for me and nothing will ever top this.
The joy that helping people in need brings me cannot be compared.
