My Travel Story

Hi! Thank you for reading through my campaign!

I'll try to be clear and to the point, I am seeking help funding a trip from Louisville Kentucky to San Francisco to meet my beautiful 5 year old daughter that I only just learned existed during the slow Covid days!

I came back into contact with some old friends online and one thing led to another and eventually I was speaking to an ex of mine who ended our relationship on good terms because she was moving across the country. As we spoke she let out that she was pregnant when leaving and not only is it surely my child but she never told me for fear of uprooting me and shaking my life. Now that I find this I am looking to happily have my life shaken and changed forever!

This has come at a terrible time as I am a cook and my place of work is only barely surviving right now thus my own hours are only a fraction of what they have been for the last few years!

The plan is to go out there for a few days at very least as soon as possible and figure it out from there. I just want to meet her and will do anything including throwing myself upon the kindness of strangers here. I have a car that gets decent mileage so if I can raise enough simply for gas and possibly a small cushion I will happily drive. If I can only raise enough for round trip bus tickets I'll gladly take that route as well and absolutely anything helps.
