My Travel Story

Hola! My name is Kelsey. I'm planning on studying abroad in Salamanca this summer, but I really need help funding it! I've been applying for scholarships and am starting a new job so I can afford to go.
On this trip, I will be staying with a family in their home. I will be taking Spanish classes and using Spanish everywhere I go. This will help me improve my fluency in Spanish and go towards my Spanish major.
I have been looking for an opportunity to go to Spain or another Spanish-speaking country for years now, but was never able to afford it. It is my first year at college and this amazing trip came up on the first day of my Spanish class fall semester. I was not sure I was able to go so I put it off, but I have been accepted and now I'm desperately trying to make sure I can go!
We will be visiting Plaza Mayor, going on a tapas tour, doing flamenco and cooking classes, we even have planned trips to places around Spain, such as Toledo, Madrid, Seville, and Andalusia.
If I am able to fully fund the trip and have left over money when I get back, I plan to use it towards the rest of my studies.
