Hey everyone, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a huge hope. My brother is getting married in New Zealand in just a few weeks, and it’s a moment I never thought I’d miss. But right now, I’m in a tight spot financially, and I’m asking for help to get there.

Here’s the backstory: a few months ago, a close friend of mine was diagnosed with a severe lung condition. I couldn’t stand by and watch them struggle, so I did everything I could to help with their medical expenses, from contributing financially to making sure they had the support they needed. But now, I’m facing the consequences. While it was the right thing to do, it’s left me in a place where I can’t afford the flight and the travel expenses to attend my own brother’s wedding in New Zealand—something I never thought would happen.

I know we all have our battles, and sometimes life doesn’t go according to plan. My brother’s wedding is a monumental moment for our family, and I want to be there to celebrate, stand by his side, and share in the joy of this beautiful occasion. But I need your help.

I’ve never been the one to ask for help, but right now, I don’t know where else to turn. Every little bit will get me closer to making it to New Zealand and making sure I’m there for my brother during one of the most important days of his life. The trip will cost around $1000 for the flights and expenses, and I’m hoping to raise enough to cover this so I can be there for him.
