My Travel Story

I have been given an amazing opportunity by SLV Global to go to Bali for 4 weeks to get some hands mental health experience. This will have a profound impact on my future career, as once I have completed my Masters degree it is vital I have some experience with individuals with mental health and learning disabilities.
Moreover, I was attracted to SLV as a company as they also aim to teach life lessons to individuals, which has a positive impact on the community, as well as improving their wellbeing and mental health. 
As some of you are aware, for a long time I have a passion for learning about mental health and spreading awareness for it. In turn, this opportunity will also allow me to put into practise the knowledge I have accumulated throughout my time at University and will help with my future career. 
I chose Bali as my chosen destination with SLV, as I was planning to do some travelling before I start my career and I also wanted to experience how mental health is viewed within a different culture. Therefore, by doing this placement, will allow me to achieve both.
