My Travel Story

My dream is to work with childrens and families in non-profit organizations to assist with trauma response, disaster aid, addiction recovery, and parenting education.

For the time being, however, I am spending a total of 9 months living in Málaga, Spain as an assistant English teacher. Donating to my campaign would be a tremendous help. Moving to Spain has come with many unforseen expenses. Working part-time as an English assistant teacher is a rewarding position that I am grateful to have, but being honest, it barely covers my minimum monthly expenses. Living and traveling abroad in this capacity is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I am excited for what might be possible within the next 6 months of my time in Europe.

I have already made dozens of connections and friendships with people I otherwise never would have met had I stayed in the States post-graduation, and I forsee additional opportunities for creating online content, expanding my network, deepening my language learning, gaining better cultural insight, and making more connections with global non-profits.
