My Travel Story

I have played cello since the fourth grade (4 years). This year, I auditioned for the PYCO (Pittsburgh Youth Concert Orchestra) Chamber Strings. I have now advanced to be second chair cellist. Recently I was offered the chance to embark on a European tour of Italy, visiting Venice, Florence, and Rome.
The tour includes a concert in each city performed  by the PYCO students attending. We may even be given a chance to perform at St. Paul's behind the walls of the Vatican!  I have leaped at this opportunity and have decided to go on this trip.

I look forward to seeing many different landmarks along the way. Some of the places we will visit include Saint Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco), Pisa, Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), Uffizzi Gallery, Tour of Ancient Rome, and the Vatican. I am currently working hard on gathering funds for the trip through various fundraisers, so donations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance for your support! ;)

    MAKING IT HAPPEN!!!
    Earning some coin for the Italy trip by playing at the Garfield Farm Fundraiser with my quartet Steel Town Strings. Very close to my fundraising goal through generous donations from over 70 donors! I will be busking (street performing for tips) at the Three Rivers Arts Festival on June 1st. Stop by if you can!
