My Travel Story

This last week a fire has raged on the mountainside just a mile from our home.  As we packed the things we wanted to save in the event that we were evacuated and our home was destroyed, we reallized that other than the clothes we'd need to get by, all of our most prescious things fit into a 16x16x30 tub. We already had begun the process of getting rid of things that we didn't use including clothes, toys and knick knacks. But this small box cemented how little in life was really, truly important. We can fit all of the things that matter to us most in the trunk of our car and the carseats behind us.

So, when Chloe said that she wanted to go to LegoLand, Daniel and I both knew exactly what we wanted to do. We thought it would really be a great idea to share an experience together as a family as opposed to opening gifts for Christmas or all four of our birthdays that fall into a 3 month span. We wanted to give family members and friends an opportunity to gift Chloe and Norah with experiences that they can share together to build memories that will last a lifetime. We truly believe that memories and time spent together as a family will create a much longer lasting impression on our girls.
