Hello. My name is Taylor. I'm a 15 year old high school student.

My biggest dream since I was 11 has been to study in Japan. Japan is the most beautiful, friendly, and safe country to me. I constantly research about Japanese culture and history, it's a huge passion of mine.

Studying in Japan would seriously benefit my school education; any sort of studying abroad looks very impressive on our college applications. My goal is to get a teaching degree and become an English teacher in Japan, so I have been studying Japanese very thoroughly. I want to be a fun, kind, and helpful teacher to my students. But above all, I want to understand them, and know what it is like to understand them.

I chose Japan because it is my favorite country, to say the least. I have loved it ever since I did a project about the country in school; I would stay up late reading and learning about Japan not only because it was a school project, but because it fascinated me so much. I picked up learning Japanese, I befriended some other girls in Japan so that they could help my Japanese studies in exchange for me teaching them English. I realized how much I truly loved educating others about my culture and language, that I then decided on being a teacher in Japan.

I work very hard in school to get the grades to go to Japan. When I have anything below a C+, I study and work till the sun rises. I do jobs on the side (though because I'm not 16 yet, I'm rather limited) to raise money for Japan. I know it will be expensive, so I am doing everything I am capable of to get myself there. However, I am afraid I will need some help. That's where you come in.

Any donation, even a dollar, to help me accomplish my dreams, will be greatfully accepted. Words cannot describe how thankful I will be for your help.

Thank you.
