Spain is one beautiful country I always wanted to visit since I was a child. I always wanted to see their culture and lifestyle, plus it’s been always my dream to travel the world so why not start with Spain. In particular, this trip is very important to me because it will dramatically change my life and improve my education in foreign language. I have been taking Spanish for the past 5 years and still haven’t grasped it enough yet. I continue to push myself to study the Spanish vocabulary, but then forget last minute when I need to apply my bilingual skills to my everyday life.
I am the President of a club called Youth Giving Back, which does community service to less fortunate community members, and the majority of my communities’ background is Hispanic. I feel I can better serve my community if I can have a fluent dialogue with them in their native language. In addition, I can then include more of the Hispanic community in my projects because I can see their enriched culture and bring what I learned in Spain to America, such as cooking, music, etc. I have dedicated philanthropist and going to Spain will give me a 100% confidence that I can finally have that connection to my community I was looking for.
As well as going to Spain can improve my philanthropic work, it can also improve my foreign language grades. I have been getting low test scores in Spanish due to my lack of confidence in knowledge, but during this trip, I will work on improve my Spanish and push the confidence in me to learn as much as possible and succeed. I have spoken with many previous teachers about taking this journey to Spain and they also agree it is the right thing to do to enhance my Spanish and become very successful.
In conclusion to my run off the essay, I am determined I will succeed in Spain. It is extremely important for me to go to Spain because it will not only benefit me but the community I stand for. Going to Spain specifically this time of my life will really benefit me in many ways and I really hope I have the opportunity to go.
