My Travel Story

My name is Cannah, but most people call me Cookie. I was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, and for as long as I can remember I have dreamed of traveling and seeing more than the place I grew up in. This trip is important to me because I want to prove to myself and others that no matter where you start in life, you can chase something bigger. I want to create memories, learn lessons, and share the journey with others so they can feel like they are right there with me.

I call this dream The Great Cookie Roadtrip. My mission is to travel to all 50 states. Every state will be part of the story, and I set rules for myself so the trip has purpose and meaning. My first stop will be in Houston, Texas, where I will begin this journey. I will also be documenting every state I visit on my YouTube channel so others can follow along and experience the roadtrip with me.

The 14 rules I must follow on every trip are:

Never travel alone. I must always bring at least one person with me because this journey is meant to be shared.
The wildlife rule. I will visit a zoo or aquarium in each state to connect with nature and learn about the animals there.
The national park quest. I will visit or at least attempt every national park in each state.
The homemade tradition. I will cook one homemade meal during every trip so it feels personal.
No hotels allowed. I will only stay in Airbnbs to support locals and have a more real experience.
The souvenir rule. I will buy one souvenir in every state, even if it is something simple, so I can keep the memory with me.
The picture rule. I will take one signature photo in each state, either at a landmark or in a consistent pose.
The group photo rule. I will take a group photo of everyone who came with me on that trip.
The random stranger rule. I will talk to at least one local stranger in every state and ask them for their story, advice, or a hidden gem.
The local flavor rule. I will try at least one food or drink that the state is known for.
The state song rule. Every state will get a theme song, either from a local artist or one that matches the vibe of the place.
The state sign rule. I will stop and take a photo at the welcome sign every time I cross into a new state.
The history rule. I will research the history of each state and, if possible, explore at least one historic site or museum to learn something new about its past.
The friendship rule. I will try to make at least one new friend in every state, leaving behind not just memories but connections that last.

Any amount helps, and even if you cannot donate, sharing this page means a lot to me. This is not just about travel to me. It is about chasing greatness, creating memories, and proving that dreams are worth following.
