My Travel Story

Hi, I'm Jack, I am very lucky to have the opportunity to visit Zanzibar in July 2024 with Harrow Way school. On our visit I will be helping build schools and sports coaching children less fortunate than myself. 

The school that I will be helping is extremely over populated, with up to 100 students per class with one teacher. These children don't have tables, chairs, stationary or white boards to assist their learning like we do. They have to split their time at school between morning or afternoon sessions as the school has around 6000 students and it only has the capacity for 2000. This means that the children are only able to access half of their education.

I am really looking forward to this trip, to help make a difference to other people's lives. 

The trip costs £2045 so fundraising is a vital part of this experience for me. 

I will be doing sponsored events and fundraising activities over the coming months to help raise the costs to be able to go out and help in as many ways I can. I will keep you updated of my progress and of my fundraising events.
