Conservation Research Assistant with Opwall
My Travel Story
The research is vital in monitoring and safeguarding certain habitats, both marine and terrestrial in Croatia. The scientific research is concentrated on areas where there are many species found nowhere else on Earth.
I will have the opportunity to learn biodiversity monitoring and sampling techniques as well as helping to safeguard Krka National Park and Silba Island (which is currently car and hotel-free) from some of the damaging effects of future tourism expansions, plastic pollution, and invasive species.
I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Nottingham studying Biology, with a special interest in sustainability and ecological diversity. In order to help make this expedition a reality, I would greatly appreciate any support that you could offer towards the cost of my research expedition. Thank you! :)
