My landlord has taken all that i could give her,me and my cat can't live like this anymore there are rats in my apartment clutter blocking the back emergency exit, holes in walls, broken doors hanging on henges, lead in the water etc i repainted the entire apartment replaced the toilet all on my own dime my father is ill so I've asked for my security deposit back to leave and take care of him in NC i am on a month to month lease i found out the llc my landlord uses doesn't exist idk what to do im stressed and i just want to leave she refused to give me my 1400 dollar security deposit back she screamed call a lawyer but i can't afford one im drained of my living conditions
