Hello everyone! My name is Najuequa Barnes and I was invited to a Privacy Symposium in Italy, scheduled for 10-14 June, 2024. As data privacy is an emerging field in Jamaica, I'm really excited to attend this conference to learn from more advanced countries so that I can become even more equipped to help particularly small businesses in Jamaica to become compliant with Jamaica's fairly new Data Protection Act. 2020.
This will provide an intense learning opportunity to share key insights on our region, as we seek to develop, while gaining hands-on development in this emerging field.
I've been doing alot webinars and training sessions with small businesses and entrepreneurs on data privacy compliance, and would love to expand the scope of my work. This conference will provide an amazing opportunity for me to do this, as I will obtain a wealth of information to share upon my return to Jamaica. 
I am truly passionate about this, as I'll be empowered with global insights to help so many businesses on their data privacy compliance journey.
