My Travel Story

Hello! 
My name is Alexandra Știribat. I'm 26 years old and I have epilepsy and I'm basically homeless. 

Three years ago I lost my mom to cancer. After I took care of her for two years ( losing my opportunity to go to university)  she died. Then I moved in with my father to take care of him too now being alone. After 1 year and 5 months since my mother have died he was run over by a car and had a very violent death. Now I was alone and I met the love of my life who is by my side even now. When my dad died I found out that the house we were living was not ours and I remained homeless. Me and my fiancé left and went to the Netherlands to work and raise some money for our future. It all went well for 8 months until my little brother came in the Netherlands too to raise some money himself. He has epilepsy and so do I. 

After 2 weeks of him being here he had an epilepsy seizure and me and my fiance had to take him home back in Romania. We bought a beer up car with what money we had and took him home to see doctors and just to be safe. 

At home he had another 5 seizures. I have epilepsy myself and seeing him having these seizures after all I have seen with my mom and dad just brought me down to the ground. Now I suffer for PTSD and severe anxiety. Because of these I have headaches and I'm dizzy all the time.

Me and my fiance came back to the Netherlands after 2 months because my PTSD got worse and we thought a new start will be good for me. 

We found a good job and we've been working here for a month now. We live in the accomodation offered by the agency and it's been a torment.  After 2 weeks of working here I had partial epilepsy seizures do to stress and being forced to work with many people in a warehouse where there are bright lights and a lot of noise. This made me sick to the point of fainting. I tried going back to work but the dizziness and the headaches just got worse and caused the epilepsy partial seizures. 



     We want to buy a caravan and just be at peace. I still want to work and I want to find a job from home or a job that doesn't emply being in a tight space with many people. We need this caravan so I can get a job from home because if I quit this job we will be homeless and I can't go back home because I don't have a home anymore...
We want to travel the world and have awesome experience but mostly I want to be at peace. 
   My dream after we buy this caravan is to start an ONG and create a safe space for people with anxiety and PTSD. I want to rent a piece of land and fill it with carvans for people like me who cannot work and function anymore in society. 



   We need €3000 to buy the caravan and to camp her in a campground. I just want peace and I want to be happy again and healthy.
