I plan to get the experience of volunteering while also experiencing different cultures. I will be able to help remove trash from the ocean and contribute to the ongoing fight against climate change. I am passionate about this because ocean pollution is a serious problem and something I have been passionate about since I was in elementary school. This is important to me because volunteering is something I have been passionate about my whole life, but to be able to do it while experiencing a new culture in another country is an opportunity that isn't to be passed up on.
