My Travel Story

I’m raising funds to participate in an Animal Care and Rescue volunteer program in South Korea from June 20–28. I’ve always loved animals, and this program gives me the chance to help animals in need while gaining hands-on experience that connects to my interests in psychology and anthropology. It’s not just a trip—it’s an opportunity to grow personally, gain independence, and strengthen my college applications by showing my commitment to service and global learning.

I’ll be assisting with feeding, cleaning, and caring for animals, supporting local volunteers, and helping make a real difference in the community. Being able to do this alongside friends I haven’t seen in a year makes the experience even more meaningful, as we’ll learn and grow together while contributing to something important.

This program is meaningful to me because it combines my love for animals, my desire to give back, and my goal of personal growth. Any support, big or small, would help me cover the cost of travel and make this once-in-a-lifetime experience possible.
