My Travel Story

Hello! My name is Taylor Mckinney and I am a Licensed Practical nurse and I am also going to school to get my registered nursing degree at Mayland Community College in Avery County, North Carolina. One of my passions is to travel around the world and spread the Lord's word. I have been accepted to attend a once in a lifetime study abroad trip called Semester at Sea, where you board a cruise ship and take classes, all while traveling to 13 different countries studying the world, the sea, and other cultures. This trip would start on 09/09/2021 and end 12/22/2021. Currently, this trip is going to cost $50,000 after it is all said and done with plane tickets, tuition, room and board, passports, visas, travel within the different countries, etc. I am reaching out to see if you have any programs designated to help students who want to study abroad or to help students pay tuition? My family has two students in college and I have multiple medical bills from a pituitary tumor that I have been fighting since I was twelve. I would love to find out about any donation programs, sponsorship programs, or scholarships you offer? Also, if there are any suggestions of who to contact about donations or sponsorships, that would be wonderful. Anything will help!
