This isn’t just about going abroad, this is about reclaiming a dream that almost slipped away.

I’m a son of a strong, resilient single mother who has sacrificed everything to get me and my siblings through school. She’s done her part with grace and grit. Now, it’s my turn to make her proud.

I was once close to starting my studies in the UK, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the trip didn’t work out and I’m still paying off the loan from that attempt. But I haven’t given up.

Through my volunteer work with Shallion Support, remotely working to organize the helping of individuals living with autoimmune conditions in the UK, I’ve seen firsthand the kind of impact I can make with the right education and exposure.

All I need now is help covering the final steps: IHS (health surcharge), visa, and flight. Everything else I’m handling with faith and perseverance.
