Hi, I am Chris Taklis and i am a conservationist, with a focus on citizen science and their contribution to science and research.

My abstract has been accepted to the Oceanography 2020 conference which will be held at Berlin on 30 - 31 July 2020 and i need to go to present my research about coastal biodiversity.

My research is how citizens can contribute a huge amount of coastal biodiversity data and how easy can be accessible for everyone.

But the prices for these conferences are overpriced and difficult to attend especially for a researcher who is not paid or supported by universities or ngo's. And i am unemployment so it means i really need your help.

What will happen if i can't gather the money to go to the conference?

My research will be on the trash and might be able to present it in the next conference which will need again the same amount of money and it's not sure, because it might be rejected the next time. That's because every abstract need to pass the committee's decision and there are many people who want to present their research.
