My Travel Story

I'm presenting "Women in Alchemy: Hidden in Plain Sight" on June 1, 2019 at the Magickal Women Conference in Kensington, London.  For the first time ever, an inclusive-attendance magick conference is offering solely female presenters and speakers!   I have been practicing alchemy for fifteen years now, and have spoken or hosted workshops at PantheaCon (CA), Mysterium (NV), GeekGirlCon (WA) and ManyGodsWest (OR).  I do a lot of plant work, and an article I wrote on working with plants as allies was published in A NEW ARADIA: A WITCH'S HANDBOOK TO MAGICKAL RESISTANCE in September 2018.  London has a rich alchemical history, and some amazing botanical sites I hope to dip into alongside my speaking engagement.

There's also an interesting family angle I hope to explore in London.  My father was born just north of the city; my grandparents were fleeing Germany and the Holocaust, and spent months in London.  I am currently going through documents from the late 1930s connected to that experience and hope to be able to put together some lost pieces.

So with a mix of the professional and the personal on the agenda, I'm planning to travel to London for a fortnight, from May 27, 2019 to June 11, 2019.  I'd like your help doing this, specifically your financial support, and I'd like to share some of my trip with you as a thank you.
