Hi everyone, my name is Kushantha, and I’m17 years old from Sri Lanka. Ever since I was young, I’ve been fascinated by the potential of technology to create and connect. That’s why I poured my heart into my studies, and I’m proud to say I passed my GCC O/L Exam with 9As !

But my journey doesn’t stop there. My dream is to become a web developer and build amazing things online. To achieve this, I need a powerful tool: a LAPTOP

Last year I wasn’t just hitting the books - I was also diving into the world of coding. I took online courses offered by the University of Moratuwa, one of Sri Lanka’s premier institutions. I learned Python. I also delved into the fundamentals of web development - HTML, CSS and JavaScript - the building blocks that bring websites to life.

Right now, the biggest obstacle between me and my coding dreams is the lack of a proper laptop. My current device simply can’t handle the demands of complex coding projects. That’s why I need a laptop.

I’m aiming to raise LKR 175,999 (approximately USD 589) to purchase a powerful laptop that can keep up with my coding aspirations. I’ve already saved up USD 100, and I’m hoping to raise around USD 500 through this site.

With your help, I can turn my passion for coding into a real-world skillset and contribute to the country’s growing tech landscape.
