In 2023 I had a laparoscopy which is a major abdominal surgery for diagnosing endometriosis. My symptoms have been debilitating for years. I could not walk at times and I would lay in my bed for days in fetal position trying to fight off the pain. 

Endometriosis patients are often told there is no cure but I believe there are holistic ways to treat this disease. So far I haven't had any luck with getting the holistic treatments I'm looking for in the United States. I have been researching and found that Bali has holistic doctors who specialize in what I'm looking for. 

 

Endometriosis is a disorder in which tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus. With endometriosis, the tissue can be found anywhere in the body. Ovaries, fallopian tubes and intestines are some examples of where tissue can be found. There have also been reported cases of  endometriosis being found on the heart, lungs, brain and even in the eye.

 

We don't know for sure how endometriosis travels through the body. One theory is that it travels through the blood system but there needs to be more research to confirm this. 

During this trip I will also be focusing on my spiritual health. I strongly believe that in order to be physically healthy you need to be spiritually healthy as well.
