My Travel Story

I fell in love with the Gambia when I met and fell in love with my new forever family there. Since that day I have been online, on video calls and text every single day. During that 5 months I researched and discovered and developed many relationships with business owners, makers and families with land to grow on, and much, much more.

I have rented a mini mall and introduced shop sharing to many small business/makers who otherwise could not afford to have a shop at all, as well as renting full shops monthly when 6 months is required otherwise, I have partnered with a large family with land to put water and power in in exchange for harvests for a number of years and much more.

What I am purposing today is a small business start-up in the Gambia called Gardens in Gambia. We will use current community garden land where available and own the land where needed. I will put in water, power, shed and tools and keep all clean and soil fertile etc. We will manage it and sell a portion of the harvests to pay expenses at each garden.

I have data on 8 places in the Gambia with the worst water conditions and biggest needs. They are priority. I have Water/Power, Blocks/Wall Builder, Carpenter and Gardner ready to work with me and will give me a discount on a 10 job/1 year contract.

Also I have MOST of the materials needed for 10 jobs IN THE GAMBIA already. I have also arranged space in a container that will leave the UK in September that I can get the rest of the supplies in.

And a MAJOR part of this is that the gentleman who has the water tanks we need is in DESPERATE NEED OF A KIDNEY TRANSPLANT and the sale of all of his tanks will help that happen!

This project will provide FOREVER solutions to clean water and food growth for some of the most poverty stricken areas in the Gambia. We can change the lives of hundreds of thousands of lives in this one year project.

I have Gambian references, the companies information, the sellers, materials and costs, and more. Also this plan would cause at least 6 kids to go to school who have never been, 3 kids graduated high school to college, about 20 sellers sales to feed their families, 6+ companies growing and hiring more help, and all gardens will employ at 3-5 people full time and be self-sustaining. The budget is US $50,000 to do all 10 sites.
