Medical Mission Trip to Ubud
My Travel Story
I didn't always know I wanted to be a nurse, but now as a dedicated nursing student, I am turning that calling into action.
Next May, I will be going on a life-changing medical mission trip to Ubud, where access to healthcare can still be limited for many families. What began as long nights studying, early clinical mornings, and learning how to care for patients with both skill and compassion has grown into something bigger: a desire to serve beyond the classroom.
In Ubud, I will work alongside healthcare professionals to provide basic medical care, health education, and support to underserved communities. From assisting with patient assessments to offering comfort and human connection, I will be part of something that goes far beyond textbooks—real people, real needs, real impact.
But this journey isn’t just about what I can give. It’s also about what I will learn: resilience, cultural humility, and the powerful reminder that healing doesn’t always come from medicine alone—it often begins with presence, empathy, and understanding.
This campaign exists to support my mission—helping cover travel, medical supplies, and program costs—so I can focus on what truly matters: caring for others and still going to school.
Every contribution brings me one step closer to Ubud—and one step closer to making a difference in lives that need it most.
