My Travel Story

Hello everyone, 

My name is Elodie, and I am a 22 yo french student studying International and Development Economics. While studying developing countries during the year, my attention was drawn to Laos and the fact that this country was unknown to me. After much researches, I decided it was time for me to stop "studying" the cases, and taking action on my own scale.

That is why I need your help today. I believe that every child deserves a good education, regardless of their backgrounds or other circumstances. As I am in position to help them thanks to my educational background, I believe that it is my duty to share my knowledge to them because they need it. My volunteering would focus on teaching English in primary schools in Luang Prabang.

This is my first solo trip, the first time I have been to the other side of the world and the fisrt time I have volunteered. I am financing my trip by my own means, working 6/7 days a week after my school year to carry out this project, but it is not enough to cover all the expenses.
