I want to go to Peru to Embrace cultural immersion, i mean, Going beyond tourist destinations, engage with locals, and actively learn about their way of life.

I think that traveling to Peru will make a difference in the community, since trips are mostly requested to places in Europe, Africa and Asia. As a resident of the American continent, I want to make my first request for help to visit an American country.

I am very passionate about this project because I have always wanted to visit Peru, in fact, it is one of the three destinations that I would like to visit on the American continent.

Why Peru? Because of its culture, its history, its customs, its gastronomy, there are so many things that I want to know about Peru. As a student at the Faculty of Humanities, I would like to know a little more about the stories of the people of America, especially countries with as much history as Peru.

About the meaningful for me going to Peru, there are some points like:
  • Historical Significance: From the awe-inspiring ruins of Machu Picchu and the Nazca Lines' mysterious whispers of the past, to the vibrant traditions of indigenous communities, Peru is a living tapestry woven with the threads of ancient civilizations. It evokes a sense of wonder and connection to something much larger than ourselves.
  • Cultural Tapestry: The diversity of Peru's cultures, from the bustling energy of Lima to the serenity of the Andes, is breathtaking. Experiencing the unique blend of indigenous traditions, Spanish influences, and modern dynamism creates a kaleidoscope of human experiences that broadens our perspectives and fosters understanding.
  • Natural Beauty: Peru's landscapes are like paintings come to life. From the soaring peaks of the Andes to the emerald depths of the Amazon rainforest, the dramatic coastline, and the vast expanse of the Atacama Desert, Peru offers a feast for the senses and a chance to reconnect with the breathtaking power of nature.
  • Resilience and Spirit: Witnessing the resilience of the Peruvian people in the face of historical, environmental, and economic challenges is inspiring. Their warmth, hospitality, and unwavering spirit in the face of adversity instill a sense of hope and remind us of the strength of the human spirit.
  • A Land of Transformation: For many, Peru's diverse environments, rich traditions, and unique challenges become a crucible for personal growth and transformation. Whether it's pushing physical limits while trekking the Inca Trail, delving into ancient wisdom alongside indigenous communities, or simply encountering the unexpected, Peru has the power to reshape how we see ourselves and the world around us.

Finally, I reiterate that I really wish that my desire to visit Peru could come true, as I said before, it is a country very enriched with stories, stories that I would like to hear from the Peruvians themselves, in order to be immersed in their customs and gastronomy and Visit very beautiful places there.
