Hi everyone! I’m Paige, a first-generation college student at the University of South Florida (USF), and I’ve been accepted into the USF in Florence: Psychology/Social Behavioral Sciences study abroad program. This incredible opportunity not only allows me to study psychology in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but it also gives me the chance to attend Florence University of the Arts (FUA)—a prestigious institution known for its diverse academic offerings and global learning environment.

As a first-gen student, this achievement means more than just studying abroad—it's an opportunity to break barriers, gain global insights into human behavior, and inspire others like me. However, making this dream a reality comes with significant financial challenges, and that’s why I’m reaching out for your support!

Why this Matters:
Studying at Florence University of the Arts and taking psychology and social behavioral courses will give me the chance to see how different cultures approach mental health and human behavior. This will provide invaluable perspectives I can bring back to the U.S. to help underrepresented communities.

As the first in my family to attend college, studying abroad was something I never thought possible. Your support will not only help me achieve my goals but will also be a beacon of hope for other first-gen students like me.

By studying both at USF and Florence University of the Arts, I’ll expand my understanding of psychology from a global perspective, which will help me pursue a career in mental health and social work, particularly in diverse and underserved communities.

Thank You!
Thank you so much for taking the time to consider supporting me. Studying abroad at Florence University of the Arts is a life-changing opportunity that will not only enhance my education but also help me grow personally and professionally. With your help, I can bring the world of psychology closer to underserved communities and make a lasting impact.
