Our Story and Dream
Hello, friends and supporters! We are Laetitia and Fabien, two passionate French teachers who have been sharing our love for history, education, and each other since 2018. Together with our baby girl, Mia, we are embarking on a journey that goes beyond just a vacation—it's a quest for knowledge, cultural exchange, and personal growth.

**How Will This Impact Our Education and Career?

As educators, we believe that the best lessons are those that come from real-life experiences. Our trip to Kenya isn't just a personal dream—it's an opportunity to bring global perspectives into our classrooms. We want to immerse ourselves in Kenya's rich history, diverse cultures, and unique ways of life, and then share these experiences with our students.

Fabien, who teaches history, is particularly excited to explore Kenya's historical sites, learn about its colonial past, and understand how the country has evolved over time. Laëtitia , with her deep love for cultural studies, is eager to connect with local communities, learn about their traditions, and bring back stories that will enrich her lessons on global cultures.

By experiencing Kenya firsthand, we aim to broaden our students' understanding of the world, helping them see beyond textbooks and appreciate the complexities of different cultures and histories. This journey will directly influence our teaching, making our lessons more engaging, relevant, and inspiring.

**How Will We Make a Difference in the Community?**

Our goal is not just to learn but also to give back. We plan to connect with local schools in Kenya, offering our time, skills, and resources to support educational initiatives. Whether it's sharing teaching techniques, donating educational materials, or simply engaging with students, we want to make a positive impact on the communities we visit.

We also believe that by sharing our journey through social media and in our classrooms, we can inspire others to seek out and value cultural exchanges. We hope to foster a sense of global citizenship in our students and encourage them to be curious, compassionate, and open-minded.

Travel has always been a passion of ours, but it's more than just a hobby—it's a way of learning, growing, and connecting with the world around us. This trip to Kenya represents a chance to step out of our comfort zones, challenge our perspectives, and grow both personally and professionally.

From the bustling streets of Nairobi to the breathtaking landscapes of the Maasai Mara, Kenya offers a unique opportunity to explore both urban and rural life, historical and contemporary issues, and the deep-rooted traditions of its people.

As history and culture enthusiasts, we are particularly drawn to Kenya's diverse communities and their ways of living. We want to understand how history has shaped their present and how they maintain their cultural identities in a rapidly changing world. This destination offers us the perfect balance of educational and personal fulfillment.
