You don’t know me or my daughter De’Auveyon attended Voorhees College briefly in 2017. I pray this tugs at your heart. During hurricane Isis she came home due to the evacuation. She was killed in an accident on her way back to school. She was attending to be an Oceanologist. September will make 5 long years without her laugh, smile and wittiness. She had such a huge heart and impacted anyone she came in contact with.

This is also my first year out of depression. I’ve gotten the strength to spread her ashes out in the ocean, where she was happiest. One of her goals in life was to be successful and take me everywhere she went. And this is why I’m reaching out to you.

My life has been in shambles since her death and I’m slowly putting it together but it’s not easy. This year, I’d like to take a cruise to celebrate her and spread her ashes. It’s also sentimental for me because my last birthday was one she really just wanted to spend with me but I wouldn’t get out of bed. 5 days later I’d be fighting for her only to lose a few more days later.

$10 makes a difference that many don’t think will. Even sharing and helping makes a difference.

My intended cruise leaves on 9/5 via Royal Caribbean. It’s all inclusive so I’m only worried about fare and flight. I do pray that this tugs at your heart and that you can trust me.
