My name is Rynessa Loewen and I am a recent college graduate from Fresno Pacific University in California, United States.

A little bit about me.
I was born and raised in South America, Paraguay. Being born into the german Mennonite community, in a spanish speaking country, not only blessed me with bilingualism but it also gave me the opportunity to grow up in a multicultural environment.

My community is a very faith oriented community. (to be specific we are anabaptists). The faith oriented mindset of my community motivated me to do an independent study of scripture which led me to many questions that I needed answered. Not being able to get the answers I was looking for, from within my community I decided to pursue a Bachelors of Arts in Theology and Ethics in the United States, and that’s how my colorful journey began.
2018 I arrived in the United States with no English knowledge and no familiarity with a developed first world country. My first step was to learn English in order to enroll for my undergraduate studies. After a year of intense English studies I finally had a high enough TOEFL score to enroll for my undergraduate studies. Two years into my Theological studies a professor of mine introduced me to the Intercultural/Cross Cultural Studies Major. It was love at first sight with the program. Being an international student, having experience growing up in a multicultural environment made me believe that I was born for this. As I pursued my studies I fell more and more in love with the major. One of my best memories was when I had to take the Culture and Community Engagement class where we were able to conduct a mini ethnography.
As everything comes to an end I graduated in 2022 with a Bachelors of Arts in Theology and Intercultural Studies.
After my graduation I was looking for the right Masters program and I found programs that are in my area of interest in Sweden. However, it's very expensive for me to pay for all of this by myself. Therefore, I am asking you for your help. Help me pursue my dream career. All help is highly appreciated and will not be wasted.
