My Travel Story

For the past 20 years, Warrenthea Biljon, my grandmother, who lives in South Africa has longed to see her son, Neil Biljon, who lives in the UK. Due to a series of unfortunate circumstances, including the son's wife actively standing in the way of a reunion, financial issues, and struggling to connect, they have been separated for two decades, missing out on the milestones and memories that a parent and child should share.

Recently, Neil faced a serious health scare, a battle that tested their strength and resilience. The incident gave the family a huge shock, he is currently in the hospital in the UK called Royal Albert Edward infirmary, emotions were high. But through it all, the thought of reuniting with my grandmother with son provided the hope and motivation they needed to push forward and regain their health.

Now, my grandmother is ready to embark on the journey of a lifetime - to finally see her son in person for the first time in 20 years. This reunion holds the promise of healing, renewal, and the opportunity to rebuild the lost bond, despite the previous obstacles.
However, the financial burden of travel and accommodations stands in the way of this long-awaited reunion. That's where you come in.
