My Travel Story
What started as an adventure to explore Albania quickly grew into something much more meaningful. From the moment I stepped onto the plane, I felt a shift. The world, so vast and unfamiliar, began to feel a lot more connected. In Albania, I was struck by how the warmth of the people and the beauty of their culture mirrored the kindness I had experienced back home in New York. And then, as I made my way to Thailand, everything I thought I knew about travel, about culture, and about connection, was turned upside down.
Thailand, with its vibrant markets, breathtaking temples, and bustling streets, has been eye-opening in ways I didn’t expect. I’ve spent my days walking through the lively streets of Bangkok, talking to locals, and observing how, despite the differences in language and tradition, people everywhere share similar hopes, dreams, and struggles. The smiles, the laughter, the small moments of kindness—they all remind me that, at our core, we are more alike than we are different.
This journey has become so much more than just visiting new places. It’s become a mission. I’ve come to realize that what I want to do now is not just explore the world for myself, but share these authentic, raw stories of human connection with others. I want to show that, despite the divisions we see in the world, the thread of humanity ties us all together. Whether it’s the kindness of a stranger, the simplicity of life in a small village, or the joy found in everyday moments, the essence of who we are is universal.
But beyond that, I want to share the real, unfiltered experiences of what it’s like to live as a local in these places. The content I’m creating will be a mix of travel channel-style videos that highlight the beautiful sights and activities of each location, as well as a deeper dive into the everyday life of locals. I’ll be showing things like the cost of living in each country, the best local foods to try, cultural traditions, and the hidden gems that only locals know about. It’s not just about visiting tourist spots—it’s about understanding what it’s really like to call these places home.
To keep bringing this vision to life, I could use some help covering the essentials—housing and food.
