My Travel Story

Hello everyone!
I am from the western United States and have decided that 2020 is my year to get out and see the world! Through work and my school program (and budget dependent) I will have the opportunity to visit 2 of the seven continents this summer- but why stop there! I have selected places on 6 continents to visit by my 30th birthday on December 31st 2020.
Here are those locations, why I chose them, and what I would be doing while there:
Germany- This trip is one where I would be leading a group of college students on their first abroad experience, talking about cultural awareness, international business, and discovery of how their lives and careers could have global impacts.  
China- This trip would be an opportunity to travel with my MBA cohort as a culmination of our degree program (graduating May 2020). We would visit with different local industries and also cultural sites, helping show the connection we have with one of the largest economic drivers in the world.
Morocco- My grandmother passed away not long ago, but when she was younger and married to my grandfather they lived in a variety of places in Europe and northern africa (Germany and Morocco included) while traveling with the military. She loved her time in Morocco, and I would love for myself and my new husband to see the place she spoke so fondly of in many a recollection. 
Australia- If possible, I would love to visit Australia and go to the Sydney and see the opera house. I had a friend who studied abroad in Australia and loved her time there. While I am admittedly afraid of the insects, spiders, snakes, etc- this is the year for fearless exploration!
Costa Rica and Chile- These are my guilty pleasure locations. I have always been interested in Central and South America and would love to see them if possible. Life can be short and fragile, and I dont want to miss seeing these beautiful places while I can. I have never done volunteer work abroad, but I am hopeful I could give back to the communities here if I am able to make it.
