Hello! My name is Denise
I am a 21-year-old first-generation Latina university student and I am excited to announce my acceptance to the Summer 2022 Study Abroad program in Social Justice, Identity, and Language!!

At the great cost of the program, I am willing to attend to grow my cultural competency, bilingualism, and communication skills with my Latin American and Latino Studies major and Communication minor. Post my graduation, my professional career goal is to work for Google!

Coming from a low-income family, I am willing to take the risk of investing in this opportunity. Additionally, COVID-19 hit during my freshman year, this will be my last chance to attend a summer study abroad program while having the most memorable experience post to my Spring 2023 graduation.
