Help us teach in Kenya!
My Travel Story
Next summer, we are embarking on a life-changing journey to Kenya to volunteer as teachers for two weeks. We’ll be working in local schools, sharing knowledge, building connections, and supporting young learners with care and creativity. The communities we’ll be working with are rich in spirit but often short on resources, and we feel incredibly privileged to be able to contribute in even a small way.
We are covering the core costs of the trip ourselves, including the programme fees, accommodation, and in-country transport. However, international flights to Kenya are expensive, and we are reaching out to ask for your support in helping us cover these travel costs.
In addition, we are hoping to take an extra suitcase filled with school supplies—basic stationery, books, and creative resources that many children there simply don’t have access to. Even pencils and notebooks can be in short supply, and we want to ensure we leave something tangible and lasting behind.
Your donation, no matter how small, will help us get there—and help us give even more while we’re there. Every pound you give will go directly towards flights and materials for the children.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and for supporting us in this opportunity to give, learn, and grow. We promise to share our experiences with you along the way.
With love and gratitude,
Janine and Luke
