My Travel Story

My name is Eleanor and I'm looking to volunteer in the summer of 2021 in summer camps for disadvantaged children aged 5-18 in Romania and South Africa.

Both camps are English-themed, allowing for a greater cultural and linguistic knowledge of England. I and other volunteers will use our own passions for things like music, art, sport and drama to create exciting and inspiring programs to help to engage and motivate those on the camp to learn English - all while having fun while school is out. We will help to arrange and run activities such as mini golf, picnics, hikes, visits to the beach, game days, craft days, baking days and more.

In addition, the camps provide meals to all of the children, securing a full, healthy meal for the disadvantaged.
