My Travel Story

Hello! My name is Charlie and I am a 16 year old Canadian high school student. I have recently been accepted to join a Coastal and Marine Conservation volunteering program in Matemwe, Zanzibar in February 2026. This opportunity is extremely special to me for many reasons. I am very committed to making the planet a better place through bettering the climate, taking care of other people, and of course, taking care of the wildlife. Not only would this trip help me do what I love most, helping people, it would also allow me to learn about new culture, meet new people, and do new things. I am very excited to learn and make an impact so far from home, and this will help me figure out if it's something I would be interested in post-secondary. Currently, I cannot afford the flights to get there and would love and appreciate it more than ever if I could get help fundraising and paying for it. Thank you!
