My Travel Story

I travelled to the Ivory Coast with a friend who is a native of there and when we visited the village i was heartbroken by the distance the young girls had to travel to fetch water and the weight of the bucket of water that they had to carry on top of their heads all this before going to school, that's if they were privileged to attend school.

I was totally heart broken and knowing how privileged we are in the West to have running water in our homes.

I spoke to my friend and I asked her what I can be done to improve the situation for these young girls and she explained to me that boreholes were the way forward, however I alone can not afford to drill the borehole and install water pumps by myself, that is the reason i ask of you to please assist me in making my dream and passion come true including thise of the villages. Thank you.
