My Travel Story

When I was but a young scruffy lass sailing the seven seas with nothing but the knapsack slung over my shoulder and my loyal crew behind me, all I had remembered wanting to be was someone who worked torward the advancement in human knowledge. Of course, when I was a kid, it didn't quite sound like that, and you'd probably hear me describe it as more like wanting to be like those cool mysterious scientists I saw on TV. But, in my sophomore year of high school, past the point when I'd already established biology as my favorite component of STEM, I saw that there was a STEM oriented program in Costa Rica, and I was determined to be able to go! Over the years, I've discovered in myself a passion for learning and a drive for change, but above all, the willingness to learn, which I would use extensively in the event of being able to go. I've yet to sail all of the seven seas, and I hope to make my dream come true with your help.
