My Travel Story

Hello everyone! My name is Eleni and I am a 21yo psychology student from Greece. I grew up all over the world following my travel-addict parents and it passed on to me! I would love to travel and help people in need and give joy to the people I meet. Unfortunately, being a student doesn't make things easier when it comes to the financial resources of volunteering and traveling. I have arleady been accepted in the team and am convinced this trip will be worth it regardless and it will not only benefit my education in the field of psychology and my CV, but it will also give me a sense of fullfilent and personal growth. 
 
Here is some information about the program that I am requesting funding for: Its called Volunteer Invest and it offers a variety of programs. I chose to apply for the child care taker in Ghana. That means that I will help children get ready for school, assist them with their homework, interact with them via educational games, read them bed-time stories and much more! The program lasts for one week. I am providing a link to those interested in getting informed on the program.
    I have actually lived in Africa, Liberia for a couple of years and went to school there until Ebola broke out. At that time we had to evacuate the country and i felt like I had left so much behind as I later realised. I would love it if you would help me reach my goal so that I can return and contribute.
