Scotland Equine Study Abroad!!!
My Travel Story
Hello! My name is Emily. I am an animal behavior and conservation major. This internship will give me the opportunity to fulfill my dream of studying horses. Not only will I learn about horse anatomy and equine exercise, I will learn to advance my riding skills and how to build a relationship with a horse. Additionally, I will get experience in a new country with new experiences.
In the future, I hope to own a horse sanctuary and farm rescue. This study abroad will help me gain the experience in horse behavior and care that I have been lacking. I have not had the opportunity to be around horses as much due to financials and location, but this will give me hands-on experience, and education in horse health, behavior, and dailt
maintence care.
Animals and specifically horses is my passion. I've known ever since I was little that I wanted to work in animal rescue and rehab rehabilitation. I initially wanted to work in the medical field of animals, but realized that I am a little bit too sympathetic and have trouble seeing animals that are hurt. I have changed to a more rescue and rehab path.
