Travelling to these destinations for my NGO work experience will provide me with valuable international experience, broaden my professional network, and expose me to diverse perspectives on social issues. Engaging with local organisations and leaders will enhance my leadership skills and deepen my understanding of global challenges making me more effective in my role. 
In my visits, I aim to support local initiatives focused on environmental sustainability or refugee assistance. I can also aid build the capacity of local NGO's fostering long term solutions to community specific problems. Additionally, creating partnerships can amplify our collective impact. 
I chose Greece due to it's rich history in philanthropy, social activism, and the current challenges faced such as the refugee crisis. 
This destination offers a unique opportunity to understand the complexity of humanitarian work in a European context and to engage with a community that faces both historical and contemporary issues. 
This trip means alot to me as it aligns with my passion for community empowerment. It will not only fulfil my desire to make a positive impact but it will also allow me to immense myself in a culture that values resilience and solidarity. It represents a chance to contribute to global efforts while fostering personal growth and connection with diverse communities.
