HELP PLEASE need to get to Florida to my granddaughter ASAP

My Travel Story

Hello, my name is Kim. I live in Jackson, TN and I am 43 years old. I would first like to say It's nice to know that really good people still do exist in this world that seems like evil is taking over more and more everyday. I am also a good person myself, with a really big heart, while I don't have a lot of money, I try to help anyone I can, in any way I possibly can. Right now I am in very great need of help myself but I want you to know this is the very first time I have ever asked for help like this and it's only because I am honestly desperate. I don't like having to ask for help, I try my best not to have to ask anyone for help, raising my 3 daughters, by myself, with no child support and absolutely no help really from anyone, I learnt how to do whatever I had to and worked my butt off to make ends meet but this time I really do need help, even after working day and night trying to take care of this myself unfortunately I'm still unable to and I'm running out of time. So this is my problem my youngest daughter got involved with the very wrong guy and he got her on drugs and long story short, she ended up going to jail, well she has a daughter that is 5 years old, she just turned 5 in May, which of course is my granddaughter. Let me tell you a little bit of the back story first, so you will understand the whole situation more. My daughter had my granddaughter when she was only 14 years old. I did not and still do not believe in abortion so yes she had a baby at 14. She had sex only one time and got pregnant that one and only time. My daughter being so young I told her I would help her and be there for her and the baby in any way I needed to be, which I have been, I have helped my daughter raise my granddaughter and they have lived with me. My granddaughter's father moved in with us where he could help with my granddaughter too and be in her life full-time. Everything was going great until my granddaughter was almost 4 years old, both my daughter and the father worked full-time, they were both very good parents to my granddaughter and fairly happy we all thought but wasn't the case. My granddaughter's father decided to leave my daughter in the middle of the night and went to Nashville to stay with his brother well this completely broke my daughter's heart, he was the first and only guy my daughter had ever been with. She ended up losing her job from missing too many days because she couldn't even make herself get out of bed she was so heartbroken and depressed. She ended up getting with the wrong guy, very wrong guy and he introduced her to meth. She ended up getting pretty bad on it and started doing things she shouldn't do. She stole some stuff from Walmart with that guy and ended up getting caught and going to jail. The judge put her on probation but she failed a drug test at one of her probation appointments so she's currently having to serve 11 months and 29 days in jail. After she got sentenced to serve that time, the father of my granddaughter decided he was going to come and get my granddaughter and take her to live with him which is in Florida, he moved to Florida about 6 months ago and we live in Tennessee. My granddaughter has been with me since she was born, I kept her more than her parents pretty much the whole first 3 years of her life because her parents were so young, so I got very attached to my granddaughter and she got very attached to me. Well when he came and got her to take her back to Florida with him, he just got her and left, he didn't get any of her clothes, toys, nothing. Him being her father, I couldn't stop him since no custody order was ever put in place by the court. It was 2 weeks Sunday, which was yesterday that she has been gone. My granddaughter has been very upset the last few times I have talked to her on the phone because she misses me and everyone here and misses being home and her toys. She starts school this coming Thursday the 10th, she wants me to go with her to school her first day and she's wanting me to bring her some of her toys and come visit her for a few days. The father doesn't mind me doing any of this, he just said she's staying in Florida with him for now. I have worked all I can and done everything I know to do trying to come up with the money to get to Florida and to pay for a motel room for about a week when I get there but I have not succeeded at it even though I have gave it my all trying, like I said I'm not one to normally ask anyone for help, I'm usually the one helping everyone else out but I'm seriously in desperate need of help right now, so if you would be so kind to and could find it in your heart to please help me out with the money to go to Florida to take my granddaughter her toys and some of her clothes and to be able to take her to school her first day of kindergarten and just be able to stay there and visit with her a few days and comfort her and try to get her outta being so sad and upset I would greatly appreciate it and may God bless you over and over. I'm not asking for you to do it for me, I'm asking for you to please find it in your heart to do it for my granddaughter, that babygirl has been threw so much in the past few months and I feel so bad for her. I'm not asking for any more money than what I honestly need to be able to make this trip. The motel for one week is going to be 700 dollars. I added up my gas mileage my truck gets and the price of gas and it's going to take about 150 dollars in gas to get there . So for the motel and gas together I need 850 dollars and then whatever for food, I guess you could say 150 dollars for food too. A thousand dollars should cover all of it, y'all honestly have no idea how much I and my granddaughter would greatly appreciate any help and y'all would forever be in my prayers and may God bless y'all over and over in many, many ways.
