My Travel Story

Dear Family & Friends, I am currently completing my freshman year in the Engineering Program at Portland State University. I have been accepted into a summer program abroad to study the modern culture and architectural design in Rome, Italy.

This will be my first time travling abroad, this creates an excitement to pursue a new and challening experience while also staying well track with my academic goals. The location is deeply interesting and I look foreward to being immersed in a new culture and its history.

I believe that there is value to be gained from this experience both personal and communal. The growth in my own ability to best represent my Country as a global citizen and my faith as a Christian will be a challenge and lead me to learn how to work with people in a diverse and effective way. The benifit this brings to my commmunity is likewase valuable. It acts as an investment in the future of my generatoin by creating leaders and indavifduals with valuable wisdom and skills.
