My Travel Story

When I was a very young girl I had a small seed of desire planted in my heart to one day be able to participate in mission or volunteer work overseas. Life circumstances led to that seed being buried away in a small corner of my heart. In late December of 2024 I felt as that desire sprang to life and began to grow. I realized that now was the time to cultivate what had once been hidden away. After prayerful consideration, and a lot of research, I began to make tentative plans to move forward in this direction. I will be going to the Prachuap Khiri Khan province in Thailand the first week of September on my first volunteer trip. I will be staying with a local family who are members of the Karen tribe, and will be assisting in the school and in other ways during my stay. The closer this time comes, the more settled I feel that I am headed in the right direction. I am incredibly thankful to have this opportunity to assist and give back, and your support during this new phase of life will mean the world to me. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
