My Travel Story

Hello everyone! My name is Jada Washington and I have been afforded the once in a lifetime opportunity to study abroad in London, UK and Dublin, Ireland this upcoming May of 2020. I am currently majoring in accounting at the University of North Texas. During this study abroad program, my coursework will focus on accounting and I will have the opportunity to attend Trinity College.

I am extremely excited about this opportunity to travel, experience, and study in these amazing places. This program will allow me to see the world from multiple perspectives while adapting to different cultures.  With great opportunity, comes great cost and unfortunately, the program cost is very expensive, and I will not be able to participate unless I receive financial assistance. I am currently in the process of applying for scholarships and need-based grants. I have also been fortunate enough to maintain a part-time job on-campus.

God has carried me this far and I don’t believe he has brought me this far to leave me. After praying and careful consideration, I have decided to embark upon this journey with faith in my God that this is all a part of his perfect plan.
