My Travel Story

Hi, my name is Katte and I am a student at the University of Maryland. I recently learned about a program called volunteer South Africa. I knew from the moment I saw the video that it was something I had to do.

I will be living in SA for 1 week, taking care of Cheetahs, helping to rehabilite them and prepare them for the wild. For anyone who doesn't know, the cheetah population is considered vulnerable, which basically means they are becoming endangered, because of poachers and habitat issues.

This is an amazing experience that will help to build character, give back to the earth, and just overall build gainful experience. The program is for 1 week and all expenses EXCEPT for travel and insurance are taken care of. Whether it be $1 or $100, I am just greatly appreciative of any help offered!
