Hello!  If you haven't already heard, I am spending my spring semester in BERLIN!  I am so excited for this opportunity.  I was selected out of 80 students from Barrett Honors College to attend.  (they only took 30 students).  I leave tomorrow morning and will return in May.  I will be studying the life, history, and culture of Germany as well as interning for a social organization.  

This experience will teach me how to be more independent, socially and culturally aware,  as well as how to better communicate with varying groups of people.  As my area of study is in Forensic Criminal Psychology, I think this experience will serve me well .

I have always been facinated with Germany and the German language.  I have actually been studying German on my own and am excited to put my German language skills to the test while i'm there.  As soon as this trip was announced I knew I had to apply so that I could make the dream of traveling to Germany a reality.

This is the opportunity of a lifetime.  To be able to live, study, and work with the people of Berlin and experience so much of the country first hand will be life changing.  I hope to be abe to experience as much as possible and I can't wait to see how this trip helps me grow both personally and through my education.
